Slide 18 of 21

Notes:

I like to close this lesson with the song "Break Thou the Bread of Life". This song is found in most songbooks and it is a good idea to bring copies to class and read through it slowly. After the reading, ask the class what they think about the song and what different parts of it mean. I particularly like the part that says "Beyond the sacred page, I seek Thee Lord" which to me means how we want to know more about God than just book knowledge. We also hope that this series will help people come to the point to truly sing "my spirit pants for thee, Oh living word."
