Notes:

How do we keep from "always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth"? When we read and study the Bible to prove beliefs that we already hold rather than to try to find out what is true then we are learning but not acknowledging the truth. The truth has nothing to fear from honest evaluation, it will only shine brighter. Acknowledging the truth is more than just mental agreement however, it is also acknowledging it in our lives which is proved by the way we live and interact with others and with God.
If I did not hand out the devotional survey at the beginning of class, then I would suggest that you have people do it now.
