Notes:

How is it possible to know so much about God like the Sadducees but not to really know God? The fact of the matter is that there is a difference between knowing about God and knowing God. I can know a lot about a famous person. I might be a devoted fan who has memorized all the statistics of a famous person or ballplayer but if I have never met them then I can't truly be their friend and claim a personal relationship with them. Some people learn all about God but never let the message come out in their life. We can know a lot about the Bible but if it doesn't affect the way that we live then we have not become what God wants us to become.
