What did Jesus say that the error of the Sadduccees was in Matthew
22:23-33? The Sadducees thought themselves intellectual and tested Jesus
with what they thought would be embarressing questions "Jesus replied,
'You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of
God.'" (NIV). The fact of the matter was that although they were
religious they were not really deep down spiritual and Jesus rrebuked
them for it.
