Slide 3 of 21

Notes:

Some years back there was a song that said: "SONG "Do you know where you're going to, do you like the things that life's been showing you, Where are you going to, do you know". The question comes to us . . . Do we know where we are going spiritually? This is the kind of question that we often need to stop and say to ourselves
The Bible encourages us to examine ourselves: "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realise that Christ Jesus is in you-- unless, of course, you fail the test?"- 2Corinthians 13:5 (NIV). TEACHER'S RECOMMENDATION: First ask the class to comment and give scriptures. When verses are written here and not on the slides you can have members of the class read them aloud from the Bible. This helps in class participation, gives you a chance to think and helps keep the class from being a monologue.
